Sub-Pixel Text Position in Photoshop

This is my biggest peeve in when trying to design a web site using Photoshop: text objects can't be forced to whole pixels. They always seem to render their start point from a sub-pixel location. In the following image, you can see two separate text objects that I created, each with the exact same text, but each is rendered slightly different because of its sub-pixel starting location.

Photoshop Tip: Snap Shapes to Pixels

I love Shape layers in Photoshop. They make editing and changing design comps a breeze. Resizing, re-coloring, everything—they help us be more efficient. But, when it comes to slicing the file up for the web, there is one thing that I hate: when people don't use “Snap to Pixels” with their shapes. Let me help you not make me really annoyed.
