Speaking at MinneWebCon 2010

As a follow-up to my presentation at MinneWebCon, 2009, the University of Minnesota’s web conference, I’ll be giving a giving the next iteration of my engagement, "It’s the Little Things, Part 2: You’re Still Doing It Wrong". This year, I’ll dive in deeply to the most used, and arguably most important, interaction elements of the web: forms.

WebSlide At MinneDemo

Last Friday, I had the great opportunity to demo WebSlide at MinneDemo, the local geek show & tell event for Minneapolis, MN. As always, it was a great chance to catch up with peers and colleagues and see the awesome stuff that everyone has created. This year, Tech.mn was able to provide us with live video feeds via ustream.

Presentation: It's the Little Things

This morning's presentation was a success. I had a great time presenting and am now enjoying the rest of the presentations throughout the day. As I promised, I've put my slideshow up on Slideshare for everyone to view. Notes and links are available on the Slideshare site.

Meet Me at MinneWebCon '09

MinneWebCon - April 6th, 2009, University of Minnesota I’ll be speaking at the second MinneWebCon at the University of Minnesota next Monday, April 6th, 2009. There's a great lineup of speakers focusing on a range of topics, from user experience design, to social media privacy, to site security and hacker tricks. I attended MinneWebCon ’08 and had a blast. I'm more excited this year to have the honor of presenting a session entitled “It’s the Little Things”.

Afterthoughts From MinneWebCon

On Monday, I attended MinneWebCon ’08 at my alma mater, the University of Minnesota. While I will admit to not being one that really goes out of my way to attend conferences, this one didn’t disappoint.
