Status Update: New Job, Projects

Where the crap have I been? Well, that's actually a simple answer: busy. But don't worry, I definitely haven't been completely neglecting the interwebs—in fact, I think that I have so much in the works that it's going to scare you all quite soon.
For starters, I took a new job early this fall. I'm now the Technology Development Lead at Azul 7. While most of my duties still involve front-end development, I'm managing a small team, working with and presenting to clients, as well the usual all-around awesomeness. I'll also be blogging at the Azul 7 Blog, so make sure to check us out.
One of my recent pet projects is an iPhone Javascript framework called baseJS. The idea behind it is to create the most lightweight framework for common Javascript tasks needed for use on the iPhone, while allowing CSS Animations and Transitions to do all of the heavy animation work. You can check out the progress of baseJS on GitHub.
I've had my nose to the grindstone for the past couple weeks, even while on vacation in-between snowboarding and snowshoe sessions, working on a redesign for this very site. I would place progress at about 70% and hope to have things finished up in a couple weeks.
I'll be back soon with a few more projects that are all sitting around the 85% completion point. Happy New Year!
